AActually, it’s been a year AND A HALF later, but who's counting? Time flies when you’ve been in school full time, learning life lessons, and job hunting. So, what happened? Well…tons, but the short answer is it just wasn’t the right time to dedicate the attention to that which whispers yes that it needs. This brings me to what I want to write about today, divine timing.
There are moments in our lives when we look back and feel we should have made different decisions. In retrospect, everything seems clear, but in that moment when you’re faced with 9,346,285 forks in the road you pick one and hope for the best.
That’s what I did (except my fork led to a crazy ex that not even legal action could deter), but you see we act when we are ready and not a moment before. Sometimes that’s a hard pill to swallow because who doesn’t want to be ready for all the amazing gifts the universe wants to give us? She hands them to us with a pretty bow on top, but receiving, as I’m learning, is a skill that needs to be developed.
Raise your hand if you’re a hyper-independent girlie who thinks she’s superwoman and can do everything herself!
